After listening to some really pathetic singing on AI and Voice the last couple of weeks, it got me thinking about this song again.

imo, high points of interest are:

4 minutes in to 9 minutes

16 minutes in to 20 minutes is breathtaking

from 35 minutes on out is just spectacular.

the vocals in this number are nothing to freak out over, but its how its layed out with the song that makes it amazing.

i just wanted to share with you all

You're not cultured. You're stupid.

Yes they were a boy band horror in the nineties but this reformed group has put out some beautiful anthem like music. They will sing this song at the closing Olympic ceremony.Anyone interested should get a look at the concert dvds Circus or Progress.Amazing spectacles.

Agreed and since the Olympics are upon us let's revisit her performance at Vancouver in 2010. I hope this link works. If it doesn't, you may need to go to youtube and scroll to when the song starts at 2:36:50.

Thirty-seven years later, and it sounds just as good now as it did then. A brass section that is second to none. Although, I would put the E,W,& F brass section on par.
