So when are we going to get MeTV from KDOC on FiOS?

Here in Menifee we get two Creative TV channels (from KLCS & KVCR) so one of those could go to MeTV.

I'm thinking there are many people annoyed at this, but not as annoyed as they are with Verizon saying it's KNBC's fault and KNBC saying talk to Verizon.

I'm just glad this isn't on a channel I watch regularly.

Update: It's been fixed though I wish they'd letterbox when the show is 16x9. I may have to spring for the HD box.

Just an update as the following channels are anamorphic on their SD channels (in their channel order)

2-KCBS, 5-KTLA, 6-KDOC, 7-KABC, 8-KOCE, 11-KTTV, 13-KCOP, 24-KVCR, 28-KCET & 30-KPXN.

So I guess pillar box isn't as annoying as letterbox eh?

They are installing fiber down my street (menifee area) this week so I am considering switching from TWC. One thing I need to know though is can you get any stations on a TV with no set top box from verizon?

I have a MacMini with an eyetv for my dvr without a cable box currently to get basic cable stations and the local stations in HD. Is that still possible with fios? I am trying to limit how many boxes I have to get from Verizon.

Currently the only channels you get without a box (clear QAM) are the local broadcast channels (SD & HD), the subchannels carried on FiOS and WGN in SD. You also get the local weather channel as well.
