WEWS is also off the air as of now.

EDIT: They're back on.

Something isn't right on DTV America's end, and it's not agreeing with certain TV's like our Samsungs. I mentioned this to Trip a few months ago and I think he said that he would contact them about this.

As for WQDI coming in better than WEAK, my guess would have to be interference from adjacent channels. WEAK is shoehorned between 26 (WVIZ) and 28 (WUAB) where WQDI is adjacent to 20 (WFMJ). You're likely far enough away not to receive interference from WFMJ, but WVIZ and/or WUAB are likely interfering with WEAK. Your location/antenna has a lot to do with reception and adjacent interference, and if your dad gets a strong signal from WVIZ and WUAB, chances are they are likely splattering onto WEAK and degrading it's reception. This is probably one of the main reasons (along with their short tower in the valley) why so many people have reception issues with WEAK in and around Cleveland. If DTV America would have placed their transmitters on a tower in Parma, most of the adjacent interference would probably not exist, and it would prevent people from constantly rotating their antennas between two different locations. If this was done from the beginning, we would all have better reception of WQDI/WEKA. That said, WEAK's reception may improve once WUAB shuts off it's transmitter, but this won't last long as W16DO will be knocking WEAK off as it's moving to RF 27.
So Both the Youngstown Stations are reversed virtual/physical channel pair opposites of WEAK & WQDI 20/21 & 27/41. For me the Farm is pretty much in the same direction as Downtown off by possibly 10 degrees or so, though the limitation to the large size of my antenna & the limited mobility (& the fact I can't crawl up there at will & adjust it as I lack the "help" of a second set of eyes), I'm likely aimed more south of the farm somewhere between the farm @228 & Akron @ 204.

I think we had brought up this before, I get the opposite effect up here, as the weather warms & the leaves appear on the trees, WEAK, W16DO & 23, & 17 from Akron start to reappear for the summer months... strange kinda like localized tropo up here. Of course Summer always brought reception issues with 8 & the former 19.

I finally captured South America on TV today. Venezuela appeared on channels 2 and 3 with the TVES Network. Channel 3 is from Barquisimeto, and channel 2 is from Caracas... around 2300 miles away from Akron.

The PSIP (virtual channel, labels, etc.) is the same for both WOIO's RF 10 and RF 24.

However, this can cause confusion with non-technical viewers that can receive both stations as this adds 2 sets of 19.1's and 19.2's to their TV. Also, some TV's can get confused during a channel scan when they detect RF 24 and will overwrite the previously detected WOIO on RF 10 due to the PSIP is exactly the same.

I have both 19's on my DigitalStream box.

Mostly, I only receive RF24 with an average signal
of 50 with my WWNW pointing for TV52, which is
still hanging tough with a signal level range of mi-60's
to peaking in the 80's at its worse so far.

20.7 is still infomercials. It will be Celebrity Shopping Network according to my contact at DTV, not Escape. It must be a mistake in the titan tv guide.

Alright. I'll send an email to Titan TV tomorrow alerting them about this as well as a few other corrections.

Of course, the miniscule WQDI signal makes it harder for many to VERIFY what is actually on 20.7...
