Currently, pretty boring. 97 Dakota. No frills or aluminum wheels. Gets me there, pretty good accel for V6.

From 1991-95, drove 72 Charger in attached photo. Cost less than HDTV, and I have a relatively cheap HDTV. It was my only car and provided great transportation. Sold it in 1998 over net for a good return. 318 V-8, not exciting but reliable. Was very reponsive for a 318, and had had some type of special testing/etc. done to motor by chrysler. Richard Petty Drove a "version" of this Car in 1974 to win Daytona 500.

I averaged 15-22mpg with it. Car HEAVY. Rolled great down hills, etc, hardly had to give it any gas for 70mph on highway. Great in snow. Car came with original window sticker from 1972. $4,512 New. Original ralleye wheels now worth apprx 1/5 of that. Had SE+Brougham packages, was a special order car. Dual Exhaust. 150mph speedo. Never had it above 120 though. undercoating was still 100% intact on Floor pans, etc.

Sat in someone's yard for a long time before being worked on. Had 46,000 miles on it when I bought it, don't remember how many when I sold it. Had original hoses/vinyl top, etc, but tires/dual exhaust/paint/brakes, etc. + 3 of 4 brake lines/etc. had been replaced before I got it. Some filler had been added on Rear Quarters around wheel wells, other than that body was in excellent shape. Frame though was starting to get more than a little rusty due to the sitting in yard, but gas tank was fine. Very nice driving car.

Total maintenance cost when I had it besides Oil Change etc. was 99 Cents for a busted brake line I replaced in a friends driveway. Would not have sold it, but wanted to before maintenance costs went up or it became permamently static.
