What has happened to ABC in Salt Lake City? I haven't seen any of the programs in HD lately. I was hoping to catch a bit of the Bond film Sat. night, but it was just definetly not HD. Someone asked about this on the other SLC thread, but no one answered. Are we all in the dark. Well I'm off to Vegas for the week and am hoping that when I return ABC will again be passing HD feeds.

I have to depend on ExpressVu up here for ABC but have you thought of calling the station and asking them why they aren't passing HD?

I haven't been able to get a picture for a couple weeks now from ABC 40-1. Their signal strength is about half what it used to be.

Change of topic, but did any see the HDTV Mavericks basketball game on KSL on Sunday afternoon? I caught the last few minutes, but it was definately HDTV! I assume because this is Mark Cuban's team, KSL somehow picked up the feed.

Also, did anyone notice that KBYU digital is broadcasting LDS church ads on their 44-3 channel?

ABC was back up last night, and I hope it stays that way. I hadn't been able to receive anything from them for about 3 weeks. Anyone ever find out what was going on? Did others have the same problem?

ABC had an issue with some kind of hardware failure that reduced their power output. I received a note from their engineer saying he hoped to be back up to full power soon, and this was a couple of weeks ago. Maybe they got the repair done? I hope so!!

Every Sunday night I have been calling in a reminder for the engineer to turn on the signal. Can't miss Alias!

Is anyone out there still getting KTVX digital (4-1)? A couple of us, in Salt Lake and Ogden, have seen that this channel is no longer existent on our Panny boxes. What is everyone elses experience as of late?

Thanks

I know this should be in the local section but I guess it is to old to be there. Would someone please move it.

Thanks

For a number of days, I've been unable to pick up digital KUER (Ch 7) with the PBS HDTV loop. I've done a couple of channel searches, and nothing comes up.

Anyone else having a problem with digital 7 in SLC?

Their carrier has been on the air all weekend, but absolutely no data of any type (no Program Association Tables or any PSIP at all). Probably lost something major.

Just heard from the KUER engineer, and sounds like they had some equipment failures. The signal is back on 42 but not mapped for 7-1, 7-2, 7-3. That should be fixed in a day or two.

Anyone notice that you can now get digital 30 (The WB) on channel 48? Does WB have any HDTV programming?
