Could someone help me with my setup... I just rec'd my Tosh 53H71 HD Ready TV. So I have the following compnents..

Satellite Box (only has video and 2 audio outlets and S-video)
DVD Player (Has component video and s-video)
53H71 HD Ready TV

What is the best setup? I have Monster cables. My owners manual doesn't have instructions for setup without a Set top DTV Receiver. Which cables go where? There are so many outlets on the back of the TV... I am lost!!. Thanks very much

STB S-video out to input #1 on tv
STB audio right and left out to input #1 right and left on tv

DVD player component out to component #1 in on tv
DVD player audio out right and left to audio right and left in on component input audio on tv

If you have a receiver (dolby digital) you should hook up the digital audio out (if available) on your STB and definitely on your DVD player.

It doesn't sound like you have an HD receiver... Is this correct?

You must have an HD receiver to get HD! Otherwise your HDTV can only show Standard Definition.
