My question is I have an Direct TV HD dish the only channels i get in HD are 199 and HBO. Does any one know of any more channels to be released? Is there any other way of picking up the hd signal on other channels if its broadcasted in HD? Part 2 of the question. I prewired for an over air antenna but my question is what do I do to get more HD signals. Buy an off air antenna? Please help?

DirecTV only currently offers HD on the two channels you mention. There are "rumors" of a third HD offering coming some time before the crack of doom. The only other HD options you will have access to are OTA. If your local ABC/CBS/NBC afilliates broadcast a digital signal chances are at least some of it is in HD. FOX/WB/UPN have no stated program to broadcast in HD. If you are VERY lucky some of your loacal independant stations my broadcast some HD if the have digital channels up and running.

Just curious, when is 'the crack of doom'? Is it close to 'the first of never'?
