I'm receiving a strong signal in the 90's from KGO on 7.1 but no picture with my DTC-100. Anyone else experiencing this? It's been this way for at least the past couple of days.

Peace,
Steve

I was just in the process of hunting down a PSIP mapping table!

Thanks so much for the response.

Peace,
Steve

I went through this a while back with NBC on DTC-100.

Turn off "off air program guides". It puts a stop to PSIP
remap. Yes, you lose all the good information as well.

My god, I know all broadcast engineers are not idiots,
but these PSIP debacles sure make it look so.....

1080i for everything.

Let em fight for the right HD-DVD
format !

SDTV for security cameras.
Everything else: HDTV.

Let Jack Valenti stay in SDTV.
He is too damm ugly for HDTV.

The KGO PSIP generator quit working on Saturday, so until it's repaired you'll find KGO on channels 24.1 and 24.2.

FYI, there is now closed captioning on channel 24.1 (7.1 when PSIP returns) during all upconverted programming. ABC doesn't supply closed captioning for the HD feeds yet.

KGO-DT PSIP should be back up, now. If you have problems with PSIP in the future, send mail via www.dtv720p.com and KGO engineers will get the word quickly.
