I have an HD100 connected to a RS UHF only antenna pointed directly at Sutro tower. It registers high 90's on all OTA channels except for KGO and KQED. I even get NBC on 20.2, but I assume that this is piggybacked onto 20.1(WB)? I have read several posts here that state both these stations are on Sutro, but I am stumped as to why I get zeros on the signal meter. Any suggestions???

It would appear that you're not the only one having problems with KGO-DT & KQED-DT. Check out this thread

Early this morning, ~7:15am, I did notice KQED was out for a few minutes; KGO was coming in, but w/ hiccups.

Perhaps maintenance is going on at the tower. Does anyone know?

I wish it were maintenance, but the problem has been persistent since the original installation. I have seen posts from someone who works at KGO, if you read this could you please post a guess as to my problem? Thanks.

KGO's is interested in any problems. Here is a note and email address to mail regarding problems.

4/12/2002, KGO-DT is now transmitting closed captioning on channel 7.1. Please E-mail any concerns you have about the video or audio quality of San Francisco's ABC HDTV to lee@dtv720p.com. Please include your HDTV receiver
make and model.

I have always had great response from them whenever there was a technical problem.

In addition, here is the general website with info regarding Sutro maintenance. There policy seems to be to give us as much info as possible. They do use the installed base of HD receivers for feedback on system problems.
