I just noticed on www.titantv.com that WPWR is now listed as being up on June 15. It was listed a few days ago as FCC Extension. Has anyone heard anything?

Don't know if I believe it, but more importantly if I'll be able to receive it.

Does anyone know where they will be broadcasting from? According to the TitanTV antenna selector it's Gary, Indiana. I hope this isn't true because I can't imagine being able to receive it in Naperville. I need my Enterprise in H/DTV!

It may be listed as Gary, but WPWR-DT 51 will be broadcasting from the Sears Tower. No need to reorient any antennas. I guess the FCC designated Gary as their service area somehow, not sure how that works.

Will Enterprise be in HD? I have heard that it's shot that way but that nobody can actually see the HD version OTA. Any confirmation anyone?

I haven't heard if it's going to be in HD but for the moment I'll be satisfied so long as it's a digital transmission and they don't mess with the aspect ratio. The other day I recorded Boston Public on FOX digital and was pleased with the improvement in picture quality over DirecTV.

I do not know when WPWR will begin DTV broadcasting, but when they do it will be from the Sears Tower, West mast.

Kal,

Are you knowledgable about the Sear's tower antenna systems? Recently I was on the 95th floor and looking out the conference room window directly below me (about 2 floors I would guess) was a small deck with maybe 15 semi-flexible antennas on it. From my perspective I would guess they were 4-5 feet tall. Do you know what they are for?
