I just did a scan with my Unity Motion and locked on to KGMC-DT 44 test pattern. I live in Exeter about 50 miles from the transmitter and getting a stable picture. I do not understand how a little shopping channel independent can get on the air before NBC, CBS, and Fox in this area. ABC has been up for a year. The network stations except for ABC all filed extensions some claiming financial problems. A little independent beats them on the air.

Well, I would venture a guess that possibly they contract out the broadcasting portion. Maybe they are using ABC's tower. I don't really know if you are able to use one tower for multiple stations, but I didn't think it was possible.

Then again, maybe there is more money in home shopping than I thought.

Bad news for us is that KSEE's parent company is claiming it cannot afford to build the new digital transmitters - period. They will have to sell off some stations in order to convert the others. If they are going to do something like that, maybe Mark Cuban can buy them! (Well, I can always dream.)
