Just wondering what your setup is if so. I'm in Hopkins Co. and plan to pick up the Evansville channels. KET is already broadcasting Hi-Def on their channel -4. Evansville should have their second channel online soon (ch.14 wfie).

Actually, that -04 channel on KET is not HD. The demo loop is 16:9 but the bitrate is lowered quite a bit since they multi-cast. And, I remember a posting by Woowoo or William Smith, WKPC-DT in Louisville is the only one at the moment capable of broadcasting HD. Although, they are down waiting on a replacement receiver to replace one that went bad. Hopefully that will be back up this week if not already.

Nightowl is right
the -04 channel is 16 x 9 standard def.
Our statewide distribution system cannot handle the bitrate for HD just yet.
But we are on the air with digital television...

Nightowl:
Louisville should be fixed now.......
(Thanks to our transmitter engineers)
