I was wondering what people are getting for their signal strength on the 110 Sat. in the SF Bay Area?

I have a Tosh DST3000 and I'm getting 55-67 on SHOHD (110-Transponder 08) which gives me nothing but a very bad picture with break- ups and pixelation. I have tried tweaking the dish but it hasn't helped too much.

Also it seems that the Tosh seems to be more suseptible to signal strength (pixelation and picture freezing) than my other receivers (Hughes GAEBO). If I have a channel on my Tosh receiver that's having a picture problem, looking at the same channel with the Hughes box (in another room) shows it just fine. Any other Tosh owners notice this?

When I installed my Sat-C LNB a couple of weeks ago, I had signals in the low 80's for the 3 transponders. I haven't yet subscribed to Showtime so I can't comment on picture quality.

My DST-3000 is also a bit touchy concerning signal strength(but I don't have another STB to compare to). In my case, it's too strong a signal. I pick up OTA from Sacramento, and the CBS feed used to break up quite often but ABC, NBC, FOX were all OK. All 4 stations had signal stengths pegged @ 100. I put a RS variable attenuator in line and adjusted the signals to ~90. It helped a lot, but the CBS signal still can drop out from time to time. I'm still a little perplexed as to why. I may try to 'mis-align' the antenna a bit.
