For the past month or so, I have not recieved 26.1 and 26.2 WETA OTA Channels. I did read a few posts about technical problems in early April, but nothing recent.

I live west of DC (in Ashburn, near Dulles). Anyone else getting WETA?

I got a hit on the signal last night, but could never lock in. This station has always come in strong for me since 1998. They must be operating under extremely low power...

WETA had major problems with their SDTV transmitter, and were using the digital tranmitter to broadcast SDTV. That's why the digital was off the air. They fixed the SDTV one, so they're probably still working out getting the digital back.

Here's a link to their site with more info.

This thread is in the wrong forum.

I recommend y'all mosey over to the Local Reception Forum for WETA updates. The current concern is lack of new programming. The WETA web site schedule is not current, and shows no upcoming programs.

We've waited several weeks, and no sign yet of anything new.

Before the outage, the signal strength was 67-72. Now it's 83-87. I hope it stays that way.

Funny, seems like signal strength in my direction is actually down a little. Pre-outage it was 80-85, now more like 75-80.
