I live in southeast Kentucky right on the Virginia line in Smith Kentucky its very mountainous. I have used a small $30 lava hd antenna for the past year or so and can pick up WBIR 10 from Knoxville and WJHL 11 from Johnson City. My question is, if I buy a bigger or more powerful antenna or mount it higher could I recieve the other stations from Knoxville or the Tri Cities or maybe even WLOS 13 from Asheville NC?

A better antenna would definitely help. Consider Winegard 7698 or Antennacraft HBU55. And a good preamp possibly.
