In my stash of stored antennas I have some JFD corner reflector antennas. The have never been unfolded and are still gold in finish. I put one up just 20 feet off the ground used a 300 to 75 ohm transformer and rg-6 cable. Much to my surprise it works very well. It is feeding a 3 way splitter and is also picking up DT-12 from Butler, indiana. Thats 24 miles from the rear of the antenna. So much for having the new digital ready antennas. This old timer works great. I still havent put up the Channel master 7 foot parabolic still in storage. Maybe this spring. I hate snow on roof tops.

Alot of the older antennas were better made than the current Chinese imitations. Although some of the Antennas Direct models such as 91XG and Clearstreams are good designs, as well as the new DB4e. But I especially preferred the original Channel Master 4248 UHF Diamond antenna, which regretably is no longer made. Also the newer Digitennas are reportedly well made.
