Hey all,

Been a while since I posted but I wanted to get some suggestions.

I am running a DB9 UHF antenna and a VHF antenna and have pretty good reception that I am happy with. Under the best conditions I can tune in channels 25.1, 25.2, 25.3, and a few others besides the normal 5-9-12-19-64 channels. I run the UHF and VHF antennas into a splitter and run the line into the house.

What I wanted to ask is this. Could I buy another UHF antenna that is maybe for a longer range and use it to take in the channels that I only get during perfect conditions? And still use the VHF? Would a longer range antenna do that? If so which long range antenna should I look at?

Then maybe if another splitter wouldn't hurt to much, maybe I could then use the DB9 UHF and point it at Dayton?

Just trying to get all I can from OTA.
