News is being reported that the Justice Network will be launching on ota stations in January. Looks like the lead corporate owner is Gannett.

Back in Las Vegas, Exitos on KBLR 39.2 is showing a new splashy logo bug with the name "TeleXitos". Monday evening at 8 pm, that network was airing a Hispanic dubbed episode of the A-Team.

History Of Television is frozen on a faded image of the I Married Joan logo on KNBX 31.4.

Aviva, on KGNG 47.7, is sitting in black for video, but there's a nice finger drumming on a desk audio feed.

KEGS 30.1 is in black since the colorbars vanished. Perhaps this is in preperation for the December first launch of Rev'n.

KLSV 50.1's Jewelry PSIP is missing, yet 50.3 infomercials continue. Of course KHMP 18.4 remains in stealth mode with no programming.

I sent out a message again yesterday to Joel in TX and got Hot 31.4 back on the air again.
To add in the conversation regarding antenna types i thought i would share what i'm currently using. I live in an apartment without a balcony, so i use an antenna inside.
I'm having fairly good success with a Winegard Metro Star Digital HD360 Amplified. It's mounted on a telescoping pole. I have it set up so that I can rotate direction. But i'm able to receive from 3 to 50.

If you watch Kevin Janison's CH 3 weather, when he stands in front of the Lake Mead scene with the boats it looks just like the beginning scene of Gilligan's Island.

Jewelry TV on KLVX 50.1 strayed back home today. When they diappear for several days, like this week, they take down their own PSIP leaving only 50.3 Infomercials.

They are still blank Sunday morning. Along with 18.3 and 18.4. This looks like their onging STL problems. There's a signal, just no programming. 18.4 has been blank for several weeks, and 18.3 is simply a simulcast of 18.2. Or is it the other way around?

Tuesday mid-morning finds that KHMP has restored the programming on their 18.1, 18.2, and 18.3. Tuff on 18.4 is still a no-show.

Since moving to Vegas in January 2001 I've never encountered a hint of long distance reception (DX). In the early 70's while living in Knoxville I received Havana Cuba's channel 2 during the summer on occasions. At another time, with the antenna pointed to the northeast I received Ontario. Several years later, on rabbit ears, I followed strange atmospheric conditions that ducted signals from Texas, Colorado, Nebraska, etc. to my Knoxville home.

There are many viewers around the country who have elaborate set-ups designed just for those signals. One of these guys has the below website that shows his reception of KVBC (now KSNV) Las Vegas, among so many others. That's 1053 miles between the two points. Yet, I'm happy to get the Vegas Valley locals from 20 miles away atop the Henderson hills. Sigh!!!

I get lots of Mexican AM stations late nights. Maybe I should try a bigger antenna on the roof and point to Mexico. Will be looking for even more weather channel ladies

In the very early 60's in Seattle I'd listen in the winter to Tijuana's XETRA 690. They were known then as Xtra News over Los Angeles. Of course XEX boomed in with their very powerful signal. I think they were on 990. Too bad DX television can't do that today.

Yes, i just found that story on 8newsnow. Political reasons for future elections seemed to stick out as one of the reasons for the purchase. So will be curious if MeTv and Movies+ get dropped.
