Still no official word from KTNV when we can expect LAFF and GRIT to light up our screens on 13.2 and 13.4.

Daystar is locked-up with colorized screens on both KLVD 23.1 and 23.2. Audio seems to be okay, although there's different audio on each of the two subs. Usually both subs are airing the same program content; one in HD and one in SD.

MiCasa is still missing from KGNG 47.2, and Family Channel is strangely missing (now well into the 2nd week) on KNBX 31.5. KHMP-18 is still silent on the 4 subs. KMCC-34 is still not getting their signal into the Summerlin area of the Vegas Valley. KVTE's channel 35 clock continues to run down, and chances they will ever return to the air is slim. The last recording I have for them is from about 2012 when they were still using the KYRK call Letters on their analog facility. They did air with a very weak signal from time to time after that. KGHD analog 6 and digital 38 is no where to be found. Will they ever return to the air?

Wanting a strong FCC to say no to the Wireless lobby. Keep the tv broadcast band for ota television broadcasters.

Well look what the cat dragged in. KMCC-34 is once again reaching Sumerlin Parkway from their Henderson transmitter. Will it stay, or will it disappear as many times before?

On Sunday afternoon I was watching Chilly Dogs, a Leslie Neilson movie, on KMCC 34.1 At 1:42 pm, the signal plummeted from a very good meter strength to a no dectable signal. What gives?

Rick, Be careful what you wish for, it may come true! This site sure would be dead if all the stations in Vegas could be on the air at same time, just think of the demand on Hover Dam's electric output.

Elliott, you may be right about wishing all stations aired at the same time. Hoover Dam only provides part of the electricity for the area. We also have a couple of huge solar power installations. I think they are directly linked to KGNG-47 for their 15kw demand. Maybe not.

So like in the song, from "Annie" and "the "Sun comes out", Tomorrow, we will have Micas Network back on in Vegas, because they have the solar power to run the equipment?

LAFF it up.

KTNV 13.2 is now airing LAFF, a new retro themed diginet. This should be a good romance for laugh fanatics. GRIT should be poping up soon on KTNV 13.4.

LAFF is showing on 13.2 but neither Zap2it or Titan TV are showing its listing yet.

A listing (of sorts, in Eastern time) can be found at http://www.laff.com/schedule/. Downloadable PDF.

Sinclair and MGM have announced a partnership to launch a Science Fiction genre diginet in the near future. Very few details are known, but it's expected that at launch the network will cover 30% of the US TV households. It would seem probable that this new network will launch on Sinclair's KVMY, as it has plenty of room remaining for additional sub-channels. The other local Sinclair properties, KSNV and KVCW, are near capacity currently. Valley viewers are still being deprived of Buzzr, Justice, and Decades.

Tuesday evening finds KMCC-34 back with a very strong signal in NW Vegas on their three sub-channels. Will it last?

Friday edit: And the service from KMCC came to an end sometime prior to Thursday evening primetime. And it looks like K41IO has skipped out for a while, also.

Interesting. I picked up one data stream of programming from KMCC from Laughlin this morning at about 12:45 am. Will be coming past the Dolan Springs tower and into Vegas today. I don't know if KMCC is actually broadcasting from Dolan Springs, or if they're using the K33MB-D facility for which they have a construction permit in Laughlin, but broadcasting on RF channel 32 instead of channel 33. Given the 100% signal I got, and the RabbitEars coverage map showing I should only be able to get a marginal signal from Dolan Springs in that part of Laughlin, I'm guessing the latter.

Not that it really matters; does anyone not think that this station is merely auction fodder?

Not me. Considering that Cranston has not had a stable service in NW Vegas for several years, it has to be the lure of auction money being their drive to continue even on an occasional schedule.
