I have heard it being preached to get a quality brand and I need an LED TV because of the room's brightness. At an absolute maximum budget of $700 including sales tax, it is looking like this is the best TV for gaming (picture quality). Would anyone care to provide any input before I make this big purchase? I really appreciate the expertise! Thanks so much.

I like Samsung for their Media Player. Hook a USB key or self powered drive and movies and music libraries are at your fingertips.
