Hi,

Apologies if this is the wrong forum to post this. We live in Butler and get great reception from all the major networks (CBS, NBC, FOX and PBS) in HD, except for ABC, which only comes in occasionally.  We're using a homemade fractal HD antenna.  Is WTAE known to be weak in Butler?  Thanks.

WTAE's tower is in Elizabeth Township in South East Allegheny County, which is the longest distance of all of the local stations to Butler. They are supposed to be leasing tower space from WQED to set up a repeater, but I am not sure that has happened. WTAE has always been weak North of Pittsburgh due to their tower location.
