I recently tried to tune in Channel 790 to watch ESPN in 3D. Each time I tried I received Channel 791 which is Xfinity 3D. I checked the programming guide for my area and sure enough it said Channel 790 was ESPN in 3D for the top three tiers. I then called the CS rep at Comcast and explained my situation and she went through a series of box resets and nothing changed. I was then assigned a CR number which meant my case was escalated.

Today a tech came by and checked the signal and was baffled because each time he tried to tune Channel 790 it would tune Channel 791. Obviously the signal has to be sent from the head end before I can receive it.

Has anyone in the Atlanta viewing area been able to receive ESPN in 3D on any channel?

ESPN pulled the plug on ESPN 3D.

Thanks for the info on ESPN. Hopefully Comcast will inform their employees and customers that no longer broadcast ESPN 3D and remove it from their program guide on their website!
