My local CBS affiliate, Washington, DC's WUSA, just changed it 9.3 weather subchannel from local Doppler radar to Weather Nation, the channel that DirecTV had been substituting for The Weather Channel during the recent carriage dispute that ended today.

I'm wondering if Weather Nation has taken advantage of its recent national exposure and is using this to work its way onto broadcast channels elsewhere. Are any other localities now carrying a Weather Nation subchannel?

Comparing Wikipedia page revisions going back a month, there hasn't been any recent flurry of carriage changes. They seem to have been hovering at around 30 or so broadcast TV outlets, even before they got put on DirecTV in mid December. Of their previous defections, about half were replaced with "rerun" channels. Eight of their current broadcast TV affiliates are owned by Gannett.

Gannett has slowly been adding it to their affiliates. Use to be just Minneapolis (where its based out of) and Denver.
