Question Help with Antenna selection - Baytown, TX

So I am trying to cut the Comcast cord and go with a family DVR setup with Plex, WMC, and a couple HDhomerun Plus's. The one problem I don't know anything about is the whole OTA HD signals. My wife would die without her news and local CBS channel. It looks like I have a wide selection of channels in a very clear direction from me 249 and 250, but they are 40-45 miles away.

Here is my antennaweb report. I would like to get the yellow and green channels.

Here is my tvfool report:

What antenna should I buy for an attic installation? I plan on running the signal straight into a HDhomerun Plus or possibly splitting the signal and running into 2 HDhomerun Plus's. (the HDhomerun Plus just distributes it to the WMC for recording and other devices around the house to stream from)

1) Would something like this work? hxxp://*******/8WP95U

2) If I do end up getting a second HDhomerun Plus and splitting the signal, does it take a special splitter? Would I need a separate amplifier at that point?

3) Due to all the channels I want being at 249-250 direction, does a directional antenna make more sense?

Thanks in advance for any assistance. *Can't post links as I am new here*

Is there other information I should provide? Or is the whole link missing the problem? History shows that this forum is usually pretty helpful....
