Sorry, Tom. Ratings and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ rule in TV land. That's why the networks pay HUGE bucks to get football. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...umbers/300043/

There is absolutely no artifacting, no pixilation during dissolves, nor weird shimmers and compression artifacts around the score banner. It's as perfect an HD picture as I can ever remember seeing (and they run a MeTV subchannel too).
After watching the "poo" from WTHR during the first half of tonight's Colts game, I switched over to WLWT, Cincinnati (a good steady signal OTA tonight). WLWT's PQ is so much better, with virtually none of the issues we see on WTHR. I can't believe WTHR allows this mess to go on and on year after year. BTW, WLWT airs a MeTV subchannel too, like the Richmond station.

The PQ has been perfect here in Richmond tonight. Just like the Colts.

Oh wait...

The Richmond NBC station is also having a dispute with DirecTV. They've apparently worked out a deal to only play NFL and local news programming on D* until the dispute is resolved.

Any update?

It's been very quiet recently concerning WISH and the loss of CBS. Does anyone have any news or update about this?

Has WISH thrown in the towel? The picture quality of today's NFL games, as well as the Thursday night game, have all been terrible. Lots of pixillation and compression artifacts fill the screen with any kind of fast motion, and this is watching OTA. It's worse than WTHR.

Anyone else noticing this?

The picture on Fox 59 has been great, which gives me hope for when WTTV takes the CBS reigns in a few months.

So, it begins. They are beginning to desert the ship.

As I've said before, I feel for the personnel still working there. It can't be a happy place right now. I do hope things go well for them.

I agree; Went through the 'fall' of Guide Lamp in Anderson; not a pleasant thing to experience. Like a patient lying on their death-bed, wondering if the nurse will bother to change their IV....I feel for those that served viewers all these years, now to soon be forgotten.

My son was an engineer at Visteon in Bedford, IN. He stayed there until the very end. It was sad.
At least there will still be a CBS-TV Station in Indiana.
Ford fuel senders are now being assembled in Mexico.
