Didn't the FCC put a freeze on transmitter moves until after the spectrum auction?

ION moves to WDRB 41-3

Back in March, WBNA dropped the ION lineup in favor of an independent primetime lineup. WDRB has launched channel 41-3 to carry the entire ION schedule. Previously, ION was not carried full-time on WBNA. Low powered W50CI-D dropped its WBNA simulcast on 50-1 to carry Buzzr, the classic game show network.

I am guessing that WMYO will retian the CW network since WBKI is going off the air?

Hey everyone. Just got into the whole OTA antenna thing so please bare with me.

My current setup is a Clearstream 4v about 25' on the roof going to the Channel Master DVR+ with the Channel Master Amplify. The Amplify really helped all around but even after hooking up the Amplify I still can't get WLKY.

Hopefully I'm doing this correct but here's my info from tvfool

Any idea what's going on?

Thanks

The usual cause is the antenna was unknowingly placed in a frequency-specific dead spot. Such dead spots are usually due to how signals propagate around or through impairing structures (buildings, trees, terrain, etc) in or very near the signal path.

The usual cure is to move the antenna. Sometimes it takes a mere 6", sometimes 6' or 6 yards. It's always different. You might need to increase (usually) or even decrease (sometimes) the height of the antenna. The key is to see if you can identify the most open signal path back towards the towers then try that spot.

Don't drill any new holes until you've found a spot that works.

Thanks for the reply. I moved the antenna around 25' in a better sight path (away from a tree) and actually a little lower. With the gain on high on the Amplify the trouble channel 32 WLKY comes in now. It's at 100 signal and around 70-80 on quality. The rest of the channels I can get are 100 signal and quality.

Thanks again.

Wkpc 15

Am I the only one who doesn't find WKPC 15 or its subs OTA today?

Update: Channel 15 was back on the air last night. never heard why it disappeared for a few hours.
