KTTZ-DT 5-3 just showed up on my televisions. A repeating commercial about the new PBS Kids channel is the only thing running on the station at the moment.

Graphics in the commercial say it starts 1/16/17 on KTTZ 5-3 and on Suddenlink channel 140.

The 28 channels have been off the air several days now . Channel 13.2 is broadcasting ABC (28.1) for now. I seen some workers
being hoisted up the tower today , so I"m guessing problem must be the antenna.

Part of the antenna burned out Saturday evening. KLBK is broadcasting on low power at the moment. KAMC is completely off the air. As mentioned above, ABC programming is being aired on 13-2 temporarily.

The tower crew took down the damaged part on Tuesday. A temporary replacement part was being shipped from Maine and is suppose to arrive sometime on Wednesday.

The crew will install that part which should allow KAMC to come back up.

A new, permanent part is also on order and should arrive soon. It will replace the temporary part and we should be back up to full strength.

Both stations have been posting updates (and photos) on their Facebook pages.

KAMC is back on air, but in low power, as of 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. The diginets are also back up as well.

KAMC is no longer being simulcast on KLBK 13-2. They've put Laff back up on that channel.

KLBK and KAMC are back broadcasting a full power signal as of midday Monday. The tower crew has finished the install of the new antenna.
