According to the MeTV website their network will launch 12/1/14 on WHIO channel 7.2.

It'll be good for the folks in the Dayton area with an indoor antenna that are unable to receive WLWT and it'll be good for us with an outdoor antenna that already receive WLWT since MeTV doesn't always show the same programing on each affiliates station. For example, MeTV 7.2 will be airing The Andy Griffith Show weeknights at 8:00 and 8:30 while MeTV 5.2 is showing Mayberry RFD at the same timeso it's not a total loss.

Still wish WHIO would have gone with AntennaTV instead but who knows. Maybe WDTN will get on the bandwagon and add AntennaTV.

I'm still not sure why we have WDTN with an SD channel on 2.2 lol. Maybe not everyone has an HD set by now. Just seems like a waste since they're the only one around here doing it. Yes Antenna Tv would be a welcome addition as a sub channel too

I'm going to miss channel 7_2 weather channel. That was the station I would watch for weather since 9-2 is awful and the weather radar data and the forecast are often incorrect.

Anyone else seeing odd aspect ratio issues on GET TV 64.2?

Here it's squished horizontally and I have to widen it manually to make it look correct. Other SD stations like METV and 19.2 look normal.

Looks like WHIO 7.2 is Me TV as of today. I'll miss their weather channel too.

I am now able to get WDTN on my indoor antenna 24/7 and the picture qualliy is very pixelated and grainty here in Delhi on the top of the hill by neeb and rapid run on the speedway sice of the hill and I live on the 3rd floor with an outside wall facing west in my room the antenna is in. I don have a meta framed window in my room and dont think is the cause of my problem since I never had this problem before the transmition line was replaced. I wish WLWT did not break up on my tv with my indoor antenna. I would be watching them instead of the grainny pixelated WDTN with lots of motion. I dont have HD iwth DIRECTV. so I have to use over the air. I still can't figure out why WLWT breaks up so much for me since they replaced the transmotion line with my set up I have had since 2007 with no change in it whjat so ever.

Channel 2 is sometimes hard to get indoors here in sharonville.I rarely watch channel 2 because their audio is muffled. It's like they are broadcasting from a tin can. Do you have the same problem or is it my location. Did you try moving your antenna to another location to receive channel 5? Btw. Ch. 48 is also broadcasting from ch. 5 tower.

I get 48 just fine Just can't get 5 no matter where the antenna is inside my condo. The audio for 2 sound fine to me. If it does have problems I wouldn't know with my bad ears LOL.

type in ch. 35 on your tv (ch. 5 actual uhf broadcast channel). If that doesn't work try rescanning your tv. Maby your tv deleted ch. 5 when they wern't broadcasting for 4 days.

With an indoor antenna it helps sometimes if you can get it near a window too. Thankfully my antenna is outside as we got very little indoors.

turn down or turn off your amplifier you could be overloading your tuner because you are so close to the transmitters. I had to turn down my amplifier on my outside antenna (pointing southwest from sharonville) because out of town stations on trippo nights (example louisville wave3 (full power-uhf 47) the tuner became confused because ch.25 cincinnati(low power-uhf 47) is also broadcasting on that frequency. once I turned down the amplifier the problem went away and I got my stations back.

Mine is not even on for my amtenna. I have gone as far as unpluging the power to it and it still breaks up.

I've been hearing that Grit-TV is coming to WXIX in Cincinnati and/or WKEF in Dayton. Has anyone heard any more about this?

RabbitEars.info shows that Grit will arrive soon on WXIX 19.3 Cincinnati. That's rf channel 29.5. In Dayton, WKEF 22.3 will be Grit's home soon. And that's on rf channel 51.5.

Wanting a strong FCC to say no to the Wireless lobby. Keep the tv broadcast band for ota television broadcasters.

I've seen the programming on Grit Tv and wasn't impressed. They have another channel called Escape TV which is so much better and is owned by the same company. They are a lot like Investigation Discovery (ID)
on cable and sat. That would be a welcome addition!

Sinclair signed an agreement to carry it. Rumor is after the 1st of the year and will replace ZUUS Country in markets where that is carried. rabbitears just puts in tenative channel numbers unless Trip has confirmed info

Heartland looks to be the TNN- The Nashville Network that Luken Communications started a few years ago. It's been re-branded as Heartland.
Luken seems to be struggling to hold things together from all I've read. RTV Retro Tv hasn't added any new programming recently either.
Heartland will be a change but not sure I'd expect a lot of new programs on it after a while. Both are owned by Luken Communications.

Luken just came out of bankruptcy a month or two ago. Sounds like an upswing to me.

There's a live morning show every day. Can't speak to anything else, as Heartland isn't my cup of tea and I haven't worked there in more than a year and a half.

Trip, I remember your many posts on Sat Guys a few years ago while you were still at Luken. I hope Luken can turn things around as it was a really good network especially for FTA folks too.
Heartland wouldn't be my cup of tea either. I live in the country but not into country lol.
