Would Ch. 25 be able to move to a VHF channel. While there will be some stations moving to VHF Low and VHF High, it is unlikely that all the available VHF channels in Cincinnati and Dayton will be used.
For the auction there were 4 options
-take the $$$ and go off the air
-take the $$$ and move to VHF High (if not already on VHF High)
-take the $$$ and move to VHF Low
So if they didnt do anything the FCC will figure out what station they can move to. Also note there are stations within the parameters (2-36) that will be moving within the band. Here is a list of alot of PBS stations and what we know https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...aZo/edit#gid=0
Was he able to cash out on the spectrum auction or is that solely for high power TV signal owners?
While, I can't speak for Elliott I know some years ago I believe he was looking to sell. At that time he had one station not two. The auction might have been a good chance to
keep one station, and make some well deserved money too
