FCC Suspends September 1, 2015 Deadline for LPTV and Translator Stations to Shift from Analog to Digital.

That means WLOS does not have to convert translotors yet.

I would like to know if WLOS is ever going to build their digital translator for Upstate SC. There were plans I believe for possibly Paris Mtn. but seem to be postponed.

Do tell?

This is why I hate Sinclair Broadcasting, the upstate of SC is part of WLOS's DMA and the station is VERY difficult to receive OTA without a huge out door antenna and powerful preamp.

I sent an e-mail to the General Manager the other day asking about translator plans or whether they might resume simulcasting on WMYA. Nothing heard back yet. The translator CP's for Parris Mountain and Tryon Peak expired on Tuesday (unless they files something last minute).
