Question Local Beaumont OTA's

Anyone know the latest status on the OTA Antenna broadcasting of 6 & 4? I realize they lost a transmitter in the storm, but don't know the latest.

Thanks,
Ken

The latest scan has the following: 4.1,6.1 (twice) 6.2,6.3, 12.1,12.2,12.3,29.1,29.2. I haven't seen any sub-channels from Fox 4. I'm assuming KAOB and KITU are still in recovery mode from Harvey?

I remember seeing a picture that I believe was from KAOB-LD showing the water line above the top of the equipment rack. If that's the case, I would have to imagine it will be a while.

Here is what Joe posted on Facebook on the status of KAOB..... ..
"Ok folks I want to tell you about KAOB TV27 Hurricane Harvey totaled all of our equipment, That is why we are off the air at this time. We have been working on solution to our loss and as of this time we have no answer. KAOB27 be not be able to come back on the air. There are some avenues to take but much of is depends on the money we have to get it up again. I am going to keep praying that God will help us to have FAMILY TV on the air and FAMILY programing. God bless all that was affected from the storm and I pray for all of you to be able to come back even better then you were before. I keep thinking what has been said before "When God closes a door, He opens another one". Let us pray that He will for KAOB27, Thank you all for watching and supporting the Station it was great getting to know much of you and serving you all. God Bless and keep safe."

Oh OK. In that post I was referring to the changes that Raycom made to their stations (they own KPLC and run KVHP). CBS is owned by Waypoint Media
