Sounds like a case of someone needing to read Larry's lists and memorize all of it like I have. Well If I am in doubt it is looked at as Larry will catch any mistakes.

Yeah, that's the call letters on 45.1...they all seem to be religious programming, one channel is called "GodTV"...

I'm not sure where this "Mt. Chual." is, how closely my antenna is aimed at it, but I do know that if they ever start broadcasting channels I'm interested in on the lo-vhf physical channels, I'll have to break out my old antenna with the huge lo-vhf log periodic dipoles...that's only gonna happen if they start broadcasting HBO and Showtime for free on those frequencies...right now, only one TV can pick it up, at about 16-17dB SNR, so it's not really reliable...

Channel 50.1, on the other hand, I guess is some kind of weird artifact of virtual channel 54, don't know what's up with it, because it seems to change from day to day and moment to moment...and only one TV gets it at all...

If you are talking about VC 50.1 then you may be getting KEMO on RF 32.

I get it most of the time at ~ 97 Miles with my great antenna system.

Then they also may be testing their DTS transmitter on Suto also on RF 32, has it been confirmed that KEMO has started testing that transmitter? I cannot tell the difference.

Strange thing for me was when MS switched over it lost one of the legs of my HDHomerun dual tuners so now MC is only seeing 3 tuners, but Kodi sees all 4 still.

Question Contact info for ION 65.1: Breaking up for two days

Anyone have a way to notify 65.1 ION that their signal is breaking up (like KNTV's signal has) ? SNR = 19-22, but intermittently "0".

Checked websites without success.

KEMO's DTS transmitter has been on the air full time from Sutro Tower for about a month running 200 kw on channel 32, virtual 50-1 HD and 50-2 SD. Their Sutro power is four times what their power is on Mt. St. Helena, due to the height of the mountain, 3051 feet HAAT. They have a directional antenna beaming east from Sutro Tower. The transmitter is designed to fill in their signal for San Francisco, Oakland and the surrounding area. They are now the station with the best signal here at my home... 100 signal strength, 100 signal quality, 32.5 dB SNR. Can't do much better than that!

You won't be seeing anything from me on here for the next two weeks. I leave tomorrow for a two week vacation in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London and Paris.

My husband, Bill, will be here and has visitors coming to keep him company, so my HD Home Run receivers will continue to be running and posting scans to my web site and to Rabbitears.info. The VHF/UHF combo on the rotor will be pointed toward Walnut Grove while I'm gone.

We just purchased a new Flat Panel TV, and we are having a problem with the screen flashing...this only has happened on channel 6.1 which is PBS. Has anyone had this problem on this channel? I am asking because if it is a channel problem we will keep the TV, but if it is not we are returning the TV.

You might get better answers in the Sacramento thread: Sacramento, CA - OTA

Is 6.2 flashing as well?

Ask someone on the Sacramento thread who has a HDHormRun tuner to look at RF 6 to see if there is a funny stream like KQEH has.

PBS stations to get more money sometimes rent out streams, KQED RF 30 VC 9 here in San Francisco has two streams marked "Control".

I'm not seeing anything unusual now nor have I seen anything unusual on 6.1.... ever.

I only noticed it on 6.1... We were watching the show about the Malaysian Airlines that was missing when we saw the flashing last night. I am going to record the channel tonight, and then see if it also does it on our projector.

Wrong direction, my antenna is pointed north.

Oh, wait a second, I have almost no front-to-back ratio with my $1.50 homemade antenna, so it doesn't matter. In fact, the very cheapness of the antenna is what allows me to actually receive the station.

It would be better with the dipole(s) cut to around half-wave physical channel 2 length, but I've never seen a wire clothes hanger with that much wire...

Actually, now that you bring it up, I get "both", though apparently not at the same time. I remember seeing the call letters KEMO on channel 50 for a while, but yesterday it was showing an anamorphically-expanded version of the content on 54.1. Weird.

Probably tomorrow it will be back to KEMO...

Did you do another setup to get the new guide? Or did it just start downloading on its own recognizance? It sounds like you (or whoever) overwrote your tuner configuration when the switch occurred.

Today is the day I usually download new listings, I may do it just to see what happens, but eventually I'm gonna have to switch however that works or doesn't work...

I had to manually start the download for the new guide. I just went in again and now it says one tuner is for cable and the other 3 are for OTA. I went into HDHomerun setup and all are listed as Broadcast. I am having MC rerun its setup. Since tomorrow I will be moving to Windows 10... I think I will just set JRiver up to do my DVR duties until SD gets their DVR competed for Kodi.
