I agree with your assessment of BuzzR but Justice Network is a pretty good use of bandwidth. My wife and I watch it a lot and Body of Evidence is a pretty good show.

Ed emailed me back, and I have to say that I'm very impressed. Due to my location (Sweat Mtn is directly in between me and ATL) he told me that I should try to use an indoor antenna first to see if I pick up any of the high-powered stations. If I do there's a good chance I could get the other stations as well with a roof mounted antenna.

Rather than wasting both of our time and money, he was up front and honest in our first email exchange.

Based on that alone, I'd recommend him to anyone.

It looks like they got their problems resolved. I noticed last night that I was receiving their signal again at full strength.

Beat me to it , I noticed ARROW was at 100% and looking even better in 1080i than I remember it, but just now I'm not even detecting a signal .

Is CW 69 still down for anyone else? It was up for a little while last night, but now I can't get it again.

Still no signal except for a split second of a pixelated, frozen frame of Rules of Engagement.

I checked about 10pm Thursday night...no signal in Acworth. Whatever they had done to get things back to full power earlier in the week must have failed.

Same here when I checked again around midnight. Right now, it's occasionally 'spurting' between 0-28% with a few random sound bytes.

It looks like they are still waiting on parts for the repair.

Here in East Cobb, 69 is watchable, with some dropouts. But what is really great is that as of today, WANN (32) is coming in much better. For the past few weeks, there have been more than the average amount of dropouts, and in many cases full signal loss. Tonight it's coming in better than 69. Sure hope WANN keeps this up so I can get my MST3K fix on Retro TV on the weekends!

Still nothing on 69 here in Acworth. We are at a lower elevation near the lake and all our signals refract off a ridge along Wade Green Rd a few miles to the south. I only get WANN in the winter when there are no leaves on the trees but am really surprised to get it at all since they are a low power station. I enjoy watching Retro TV but really wish WPCH 17 would add a sub-channel and pick up Retro TV.

Except for that one night I watched Green Arrow, it's either been 'can't detect a signal' or pixelated/frozen to uselessness trough last night till after 11 pm last night when it magically went to 100% till I turned off the TV around 4:30 am. Right now it's 'stuttering' from 0 to the low 70s, so too bad for me.

The weather's been so weird around here lately that combined with some serious tree growth and heavy PDK traffic I have to wonder how much it's affecting my signal.

Hopefully, my problems will go away once I get my large, ancient, rotating AM/FM antenna back on the roof.

I spoke too soon. WANN is back to its old behavior, signal strength all over the place and frequent dropouts.

Looks like Cliff at Atlanta Antenna has hung it up after decades. He did my setup, nice guy, bit of a character. He recommends Ed Carson at SatPro as his replacement.

Thanks Cliff!

Flipped through last Sunday morning and they had a Match Game mini marathon. That was totally worth it, loved that show.

The channels that are weird for me are usually the two PBS channels. One comes in 100 and the other will be fringe. It's like they take turns at full strength. I'm in west Cobb.

Look on a broadcast map and you'll see why. I have an antenna to get most channels including 30, another to get 14 and a third one to get 8 along with a FM dipole to get solid audio on all three chnl 8s. The three HD antennas are just a DIY coat hanger design I found on youtube ages ago. Looks like a crude CM 4221 without a reflector.

Well, I know 14 is behind me so not to expect it. I was told either 8 or 30's transmitter is on the opposite side of Atlanta and that was issue.
