I've lost Cozi TV since the switch to CBS on WWAY TV - Any chance of someone in my designated market taking a look at adding this station? It has a lot of good programming. Some of the channels we get now are rather cheezy in my honest opinion. I won't expect WITN to change anything, but all others may consider it.

If you get FETV they carry some of Cozi's schedule. It's in the middle of crap channels on Dish, like channel 82 or something. I think Direct has it also.

I've read where they will spend money on equipment, but are very meager when it comes to employees... The better employees may start to look elsewhere for work, and it may be a good move to do so.

I don't think WITN ever actually went away. Gray and Dish reached an agreement at the last minute.

It's odd that WCTI is gone but not WFXI/WYDO.

From wcti

While both DISH Network and NewsChannel 12 (WCTI) are working earnestly to resolve this matter, there is the potential that this could be a long interruption of service.

All the comments on FB about no TV 12. All they need is a piece of wire in their antenna port (strong OTA signal) or tune into ABC on a firestick.

I was curious what people were saying on their Facebook now and just looked.

"OK TIME TO BRING BACK ABC TO DISH! YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN BULLIES LONG ENOUGH. SOME PEOPLE CANT AFFORD TO GO OUT AND BUY AN ANTENNA!"

I could buy like 15 antennas a month for what I pay Dish. I'd love to see this woman's bill.

Cozi is coming to all Three Tutt Media Group stations on March 15th. I saw an announcement on their AntennaTV 21-1.

Its actually already there they added a 4th sub channel. I saw the commercial also and sent them a email to see what network was being replaced only to discover the next day that it had gone live. I still haven't heard back from email BTW

Tutt Media Transmitter locations?

Where are the Tutt Media transmitter towers located. I used several sources but get conflicting answers I'm mainly interested in WTMQ 41 according to their coverage map that should be the one received best, but can't seem to find the right direction to point the antenna.

Their FCC license data, including tower data, is here: https://transition.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/t...2=&EW=W&size=9

Of course, what's really important depends on whether or not they're actually on the air.

It's out in the Poney farm rd area off US 258 west of Jacksonville. There is no Cozi TV on there though. The main signal comes off of channel 21, which must be where COZI is. The antenna for that is on the tower south of Trenton which 106.5 FM broadcasts.

Well that explains it. BIG pine less than 25 ft from the antenna directly in the path of the signal.

COZI TV is now live on 41-4. With these low power stations, you really need to have an antenna pointing right on them, and also a strong UHF model, which are becoming hard to find.

I had the opportunity a couple of days ago to watch WFXI and WCTI off air. Looked to me that when they did local news there was a lip sync issue on both stations. It was worse on WFXI than on WCTI, but you see a very slight delay on WCTI and it was a little more pronounced on WFXI.

Anyone else see that?

Anyone have any guesses what will be announced from our stations around the area where the spectrum auction is concerned? Will the PBS stations all get on one signal? WUNK/WUNM? Will WYDO become channel 8 WFXI out of Trenton? Will there be any low VHF? We should know by March 30.

12 still looks better than 3 from Wilmington since they changed to both ABC and CBS. WNCT looks massively better than that CBS.

UNC announced last year that they are not participating in the auction, so all the existing UNC-TV licenses will continue to exist, but may be repacked to new UHF channels. See here:

We will know no earlier than March 30. That's the day the assignment phase of the auction ends. It will take time to gather and format the results of that piece of the forward auction, so there will likely be some delay after March 30.

One of the many rumors floating around is a majority of the UNC stations are getting new assignments. But to be completely honest, another rumor has it that very few are getting new assignments. So take your pick.

I did notice the lip sinc issue you mentioned on 12. I had to get real close to the screen though. Honestly I don't watch much news on TV anymore, and if I do, it's usually channel 9.

NAB asked channels what their plans are after the repack for the next transition of broadcasting. We don't know yet what every station will do as far as channel, but one that caught my attention was WCTI will be on channel 10. What that means for WNCT who knows... WTVD will be on 9. WITN hasn't said either.
