Is 9-02-2014 really the last post on here?

It will probably be on channel 663.

Question, especially for kenglish:

Is KSL really adding "This TV" to channel 5-3? I ask this semi-dumb question because I was looking at TitanTV local listings across the country and your 5-3 listings show "This TV" programming replacing your radar channel on New Year's Eve at 8 P.M. (there are two disco movies airing that night).

If that is the case, then I find that surprising and unexpected! I thought for sure KSTU 13-3 would get "This TV" because of Tribune ownership!

According to their website (http://thistv.com/#), KSL is their partner station, with them being on 5.3 OTA and 105 on Comcast.

It doesn't say when that will happen, though. It's not there now, and you read 12/31/2014, so I'd say there is probably some truth to what you read.

KUCW 30-1 Signal Problems

Hey Everyone,

Has anyone else been having problems with the over the air signal for KUCW 30-1? The signal isn't coming through clearly for the past several weeks and I've done everything I can think of to figure it out. I've unplugged and re-plugged, re-scanned several times and even gone and messed with the antenna up on the roof. Still nothing. Every other channel I have is just fine and my 4-30 receives great reception. But, just 30-1 does not. I'm down in Herriman so did the tower change direction or is there more interference down here? I'm at a loss as to why it won't seem to work. Anyone have any thoughts?

Andrew

KUCW 30-1 Signal Problems - Now Better?

Just thought I'd let everyone know that 30-1 is back up and functioning fine for those of us on the south end of the valley just using antennas. Not sure why or how, but it's working.

I just bought a new STB (the price was right and I can add up to a 3TB USB harddrive to turn it into a DVR), and as I was scanning, I came across 3 pay channels ; Showtime, Starz!, and I don't remember what the other one was. On the tab that shows the channel's info was a dollar sign. That suggests to me a pay channel.

I don't know what channel they are on (they are all on the same channel), and my meter died before I could find a channel I haven't seen before.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Apparently they're part of KUPX, channel 16. They come up as Showtime - 16.90; Starz! - 16.95; & Airbox - 16.96. All of them are scrambled channels.

It's part of the AirBox service, only being sold in Houston but being carried across some number of ION stations. http://www.rabbitears.info/market.php?request=airbox

Yeah, I discovered that. I don't know why anybody would want to pay for stereo in 480i.

Wonder why they don't offer the service since they're broadcasting it anyway.
