I also saw that message this morning.
Only a couple weeks ago did I remove the line saying NO LISTINGS from my Tivo grid I left it up so I'd know right away when they added listings.....didn't think about the message that Tivo sends out. Oh well, don't really plan on watching it anyway, the only reason I kept it up was to see when the Mexican DWTS came back on, but the picture quality is so atrocious I don't know if I could stomach watching it anyway, that and the fact that I wouldn't have a clue what they were saying Nope, WUMN is just another one of the multitude of LPSs I can receive but never watch.....

It doesnt make sense as to why the picture looks like hell. The master feed from C-Band looks fine and when WUMN went digital it was **fine**....well better than it is now.

KSTP ABC 13.21GB (the 3:45 length game was 14.05)
WCCO CBS 24.37GB
KARE NBC 21.61GB (recorded 3 hours 25 minutes)
WUCW CW 20.72GB (recorded 3 hours 35 minutes)...a 3 hour recording was 17.72GB
KMSP FOX 20.27GB (recorded 3 hours 25 minutes from 9-9)
a couple more from the weekend
WFTC FOX 15.4 (this was from 9-1 this week)
KSTC IND 14.3 (this was a 3 hour recording from the prep bowl)

So the 9-9 version does take more bandwidth than 9-1 does

Well northpine.com explained why Telemundo went to 25 and not 43

Spanish-language network Telemundo is now available on Minneapolis broadcast TV for the first time: Former TBN affiliate KJNK-LD is now carrying Telemundo on channel 25.1, along with DrTV on 25.2. The sale follows King Forward, Inc.'s purchase of the station from Regal Media, which had purchased it from longtime operator TBN a few years ago. King Forward is a sister company to DTV America, which recently bought former Home Shopping Network station K43HB-D from Ventana Television. A website set up at telemundomn.com indicates "Telemundo Minnesota" is being operated by Santamaria Broadcasting, which also runs "La Raza" KMNV/1400 (St. Paul) and KMNQ/1470 (Brooklyn Park). Meanwhile, DTV America said in an FCC filing that channel 43, which has changed its callsign to KMBD-LD, is off the air while it prepares to construct a new facility.

I'm glad they explained that
So now we have both UNI and Telemundo in digital in MSP, wonder how long it will take Tivo(Tribune) to get Telemundo in it's guide......as we all know it over a month to get UNI added

Noticed today that Telemundo 25.1 is broadcasting in fullscreen 16:9 1080i. This may be a first that an LPTV station in the TCs is broadcasting in Full HD. 25.1 is making 17.1 look really bad at this point. To that point, 17.1 seems to get worse by the day. It's unwatchable. I submitted a complaint @ https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us

Actually WDMI 62 (RF31) Daystar went HD last week. 720p on -1, 480i on -3

we've discussed it before. It doesnt make sense as WUMN is on big dish (C-Band) and that feed is clear. Don't get how the picture looks like washed up analog

When are 23.4 Grit and 4.2 Decades going to start broadcasting? Does any one know what channel 5 plans to do when LiveWell 5.7 quits broadcasting? Do they plan to add a station, and if so, maybe what station. Is our Gannett station, channel 11, have any plans to broadcast the Justice Network when that starts broadcasting in 2015.

Gannett signed an agreement to carry it at launch on their stations. So yes they ARE carrying it at launch. Whether or not they replace WXNation is up in the air.

It's a full Mw. TVFool will tell you the effective ERP for your location (directional pattern of the transmitting antenna). If this is a long term issue, try double checking the aim of the antenna or try moving it up or down a foot or two. It could be in a cold spot.

this is weird
Last night all of a sudden my tivo guide showed 29-3, 29-4, 29-5 with no guide info. These are 9-1,9-2,9-3 which work just fine
If I select the 29-X it shows signal but a blank screen.

well I see zap2it (and therefore Tivo) now has the college basketball games on GetTV (23-2) listed. Only thing is they apparently don't have the right end time. They have the start time right but the end time looks like when the new movie starts. SO as example Saturday they have it as 2:00-5:15

Some weeknight games they show from 7-11:10. I think I will still set manual timers for the games

so this past week the ASN basketball games on GetTv are all jacked up
-games not being shown
-games starting in progress after the current movie is over instead of at 7

seems weird that Sinclair put this money into ASN then not show the games. One game was on one RSN and one local affiliate

I bought myself a android tablet for Christmas and came across this FREE app called "TV Antenna Helper". It downloads data from the FCC website and lists all the HDTV stations for your location. You can use it to help you orient your antenna for best signal strength. It shows channel list, line of site map view, compress view and makes antenna recommendation with links to Amazon.com.

My two complaints are that sub channels are not listed, and you have to go though different setting menus to get full detail.

I liked it.

You can download it for free from the google store:
