kemac, sorry, I missed the speed limit analogy and thought you were responding to my comments. I have to agree speed limits are not really the same thing as data caps. It would be nice though if I could buy a sticker that would let me drive at higher speeds.

As for options, you have a point. I'm not sure what you mean by "consumer" account since it's already been shown that business service is not just for businesses, as the name would apply. And I'm only going by what's been said about business service being available to everyone, though I see no reason it wouldn't be the case.

Cheers, Dave

Some people claim you can. Just donate to your local police department's union and get a bumper sticker saying you did so.

I wish it were that easy, or was before I retired. Now I'm not in much of a hurry, so I just go with the flow. I suppose that's what I'm doing with the cable internet discussion too.

Cheers, Dave

I have a couple of Cox circuits at my business.

For a 50/10 Coax (cable) circuit I am paying $213 a month with a 3 year contract
For a 30/30 Optical circuit I am paying $1,118 a month with a 3 year contract. I run web and mail servers behind this so 100% up time and symmetrical data is a must.

Seeing today's pricing for coax its time to give Cox a call.

TiVo Roamio Pro, TiVo Elite (Killed by Cox), TiVo 4, 8 TiVo Minis, Roku 3, Cox Cable, Sonos, Amazon Echo
