What should i be getting on the 101 & 119 ?
I am currently getting 82 on the 101 & 70 on the 119.
I have a clear view and think this is low any thoughts ?

No, that is pretty good. 119 will have a lower ss until August when the new satellite launches.

Doing a few WWW searches, I found this site, which lists a satellite called "DirecTV 5" as having a launch date in August.

I also found another site with a list of their satellites:

DBS 1 110° DIRECTV 1
DBS 2 101° DIRECTV 2
DBS 3 101° DIRECTV 3
DIRECTV1-R 101° DIRECTV 1-R
TEMPO 1* 119° DIRECTV 5*
TEMPO-2 119° DIRECTV 6
DIRECTV 4-S* 101° DIRECTV 4-S*

* = To be launched

It shows that there are three satellites at 101°, do they operate simultaneously, or are they there for redundancy?

I think the DirecTV 4-S satellite is the one with "Spot Beam" technology to enable directed local channels.

Does anyone else have more detail about the new capabilities of DirecTV-5? Or, how they operate together with multiple satellites in the same orbital position?

I think that is a recurring rumor on these discussion boards. As far as I can tell, there has been no verification that new HDTV programming is coming on 119 or 110.

Not familiar with your part of the world but I get low 90s on 101 and low 80s on 119. I live in central Florida. That might make a difference.
After thought: Did you check to make sure your antenna settings are those recommended by antenna manufactor? I use the Sony HD100. I thought I could improve on the installer's work but found out that he got the highest signal strength--but I had to learn for myself.
