I thought it was neat to see this logo on all the morning shows' broadcasts of the WRAL Senator Helms feed.

I wonder how many noticed it and if it made them think about HDTV.

I saw it on our local fox affiliate and noticed that when

they played the clip they faded in their logo just as it

started so that the words "WRAL hi" were visible and I

knew that what most folks would not be able to see was "gh

definition" Once the clip ended the logo faded away. They

certainly couldn't let anyone see that viewers who are

lucky enough to have a forward looking innovative station

like WRAL makes Hi-Def available to their viewers!

jgleigh,

Here in Atlanta we are lucky our Meredith station had HDTV before they were bought. My heart goes out to y'all.

PCS,

I checked out all three network morning shows here in Atlanta and CNN and there was no 'overlays' of logo's. But I can appreciate that that happens.

When I saw the logo I thought that it was a great plug for HDTV. Also, if I ever win the lottery I'd move my family to to the North Carolina. Well maybe.

I saw it and really wish I had access to some high-def material where I live.

Tombarry,

Here's a quick follow-up for you. Does the Atlanta CBS affiliate pass through the CBS-HD feed and do you happen to know if this is viewable on the Dish local transmission. Any info on this is appreciated.

PCS,

We do get the HD feed. I don't have Dish. I don't think you can get a waiver because we get OTA CBS HD.
