A nice Q&A list for sure, but I would think the following Qs should be added:

Q1: Are DTV and HDTV the same?

Q2: Is "digital cable" HDTV?

These may be implicity answered by the body text but I think explicit Qs should be added.
**
Also, it would be nice if actual frequently asked questions from the AV forums could be somehow added and updated -- perhaps as a second list so as to not dillute this list.

Very nice FAQ. Bravo to those who contributed to it.

I'm with Larry on adding a question explaining that "digital cable" is not DTV, nor HDTV.

Good work!

Is anyone (hopefully less biased than myself) willing to take on the copy protection questions/issues?

Peter,
Great Work. I hope the newbies look it over when they start. It would save us from some of the inevitable redundancy of answering the same questions over and over.

Now, if only there was a section that dealt with explaining 'Rodmanbra'.

Very good job. I would suggest another question which comes up when I talk about DTV to friends:

Q: What is the difference between digital television and digital cable?

However, (all this following take with , at least partial BG http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif ) what about a section in the FAQ regarding some of the more frequent and USUALLY most knowledgeable members identifying their background, biases, special knowledge, idiosynchrocies, habits, parentage, lineage etc? Many of the members IMMEDIATELY come to mind (how about it Rodman)!!!! http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Peter, excellent job!!!! For someone needing the HDTV info, this is the business, well done!

When it's next updated, a brief one-liner about recording options might be worth adding, since this is a question I often get asked by friends new to the HDTV world.

Again, thanks for writing this and your very real contribution to the forum.
