Please email any reports to gdavis@loop.com

Is anyone watching Enterprise with a DTV tuner?
Here in LA, the UPN station always zooms the picture to fill the screen, so I imagine the letterboxed "Enterprise" will fill the screen.
But are there other cities with DTV UPN stations that don't always zoom the picture? If so, what did they do with "Enterprise"? (Fill the screen or letterboxed and pillerboxed within the DTV screen?)

Also, when I was watching UPN-LA DTV this afternoon, I thought the picture looked incredibly "digital," probably the worst-looking thing I had seen on DTV. Did it get any better by Star Trek time?

thanks for any feedback...

I don't think this belongs in the HDTV forums since
UPN only broadcasts 480i or 480p.

WSBK (Boston UPN affiliate) on Dish Network apparently
broadcast Enterprise in letterbox format (bars along
the top and bottom) and didn't do any "zoom" weirdness.

The UPN affiliate in the SF Bay Area broadcast it letterboxed in a 4:3 window.

So, my DTC-100 fill mode does a decent job of taking up the whole screen. Obviously, it's a very grainy, and lo-res. But, that's about the best we can expect from UPN for now.
