It was on 12/17/2014, the last date for which I had solid information on the resolution of 52-1.

I've corrected accordingly.

You're right; and to my untrained eye, it looks like a true 720p broadcast, not just up-converted 480i.

But given that they're on 52.1 and also available on-line in HD, does anyone really need the inferior SD simulcasts on 28.1, 31.1, or 47.5 any more? KTXD in particular could use the bandwidth - they're running HD on 47.1 plus four SD subchannels!

Of course, I guess as long as SBN is willing to pay, those stations will gladly sell them some bandwidth. Seems like SBN would have better uses for that money, though.

So that's all good news. This is the best configuration they've tried all year. Unfortunately, KVFW channels have a habit of disappearing rather quickly. I think they longest they've lasted without something going wrong was just over a week! So we'll see if they can make it to 9/15 or so without dying again.
Nope. They did make it through 9/14, which for them is quite good - 8 days in a row! But as of today, 9/15, I have a lock on a good signal, but both channels are just black screens.

Edit: And a day later (9/16), even the PSIP is gone. Back to a signal with zero channels

Edit 2: As of Monday evening, Rev'n is back on. Does KVFW take the weekends off now?

It's not just our friends at channel 38

Channel 52.3 (QVC "Plus") is a black screen today too. 52.1 (SBN) and 52.2 (Viene) are still on though.

Edit: At 3:02, a KFWD station ID overlay came on (overlaying the black screen) for a short while.

Oh, I agree !! 52.1 is all they need!

Cable Channel Choice is the only choice I want to make !!
