VOD No Longer Working
My wife & I have 2 of the 2-Tuner Charter Moxi units. They are model number 3012.
We have had them since at least June, 2012 when they received their latest software update. Until very recently, we have had no problems getting Video On Demand. About a 1 or 2 months ago, we started noticing problems with Video On Demand. It would kick us out of an On Demand program for no apparent reason. Eventually, we could no longer view any Video On Demand programs. It has been like this for about 2-3 weeks.
1st, we called Charter for support. They had us do the usual things, reset the system, (no luck); unplug the system & wait (no luck); re-do the provisioning for VOD (no luck).
I have reviewed the on-board diagnostic tools. As far as I can tell, everything looks the way it should. The internal modems appear to be functioning as they should.
We even had a tech come out. Of course, he didn't know much about the Moxi. But he checked the signal strength at the pole, at the ground block where it enters our house, at our 4-way splitter, and at the wall. Everything was as it should be.
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! We both love our Moxis. But receiving Video On Demand is absolutely necessary.
