Model Pioneer 50” PDP-5000EX Plasma Display (approx. 4 or 5 years old)

We have recently inherited the above TV which I believe is (was) fairly high spec.

A Nintendo Wii was plugged via an adaptor into Input 4-Component /video/ Analog RGB (Y G ) by mistake (should have been in input 6 – Video) which resulted in a pop sound from the TV when the game console was turned on. A horizontal white band appeared on the screen - the band runs across the entire width of the screen.

The white band is approx 8" high with a smaller 1” black band directly below the white band, the picture above / below the band appears perfect.

The sound appears fine.

Does anyone have any ideas as to whether the TV can be fixed and if so would it be possible to advise a
rough cost of having it fixed?
