Anyone in or near Fort Wayne want to get together?

I'm new to the area and just finishing my HT. I'd love to meet fellow enthusiasts.

Shout out if you're interested. Might be fun to pull together a crowd (if one exists)!

John

Only about 5 years late responding. Was just browsing the forums looking for other enthusiasts in the Fort Wayne area.

When purchasing HT equipment remember that it's always easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.

I'm six years late to this party, but my theater is done. Anyone else out there in the Fort Wayne area?

Huntington here, close enough for me though. Got any pics of the finished product?

Here is the system thread:

The basics are on the front page. There are a couple of updates at the end.

And you? Any build thread?

My avatar is basically a picture of finished product. Have added quite a few acoustic panels since that picture though.

Did you purchase acoustic treatments or build them?

I built them. Was very easy to do and saved a ton of cash.

Very cool. I did the same thing. I have a variety of materials from rock wool to studio foam to OC 702 and shredded denim. All are covered in black muslin.

It's amazing the difference a treated room makes.

Do you have REW and a calibrated mic? If not we could give mine a shot on your system some time.

No REW or mic for it. Would be fun to give it a whirl on mine to see what I've got though. Most I've done is play around with an SPL meter.

I'll have to get you some newer pics of more complete room too.
