Still looking to see who might be going to the Emotiva show at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead. I plan on wearing my HSU Research T-shirt so you know who I am. If you plan on going please post what you might wear.

I close on my home in Snellville next week. I plan on renovating the basement to include a dedicated theatre. Looking forward to meeting some of the local enthusiasts for tips since this will be my first dedicated HT.

Same here. Thought you'd like how the nipples were cut out. Sorry I missed your call, phone was dead/charging.

If anyone in the ATL area is looking for a local good deal on a Sony 55 ES projector, a Stewart FirehawkG4, or a Bose 1SR system let me know. I've upgraded.... send me PM for details.

Looking to put in some actuators, so I can bring down bass and still have a great experience.

Buttkickers, Crawsons?

Anyone have these, tried them? Would love to take em for a test run. Buttkickers seems WAY cheaper, but sounds like the Crawsons may be a better experience?

I know the feeling. I have two si 18s sitting in the basement waiting for me to build another DO box for them.
Did you build them and they're at your old house or have someone else do it and they've been keeping them warm for you?

My brother and I did them. He did the woodwork, I did the finishes. Link in my sig.
I went up to Ohio and spent a week on them. It was cool working on them together. I mean really cool, the garage didn't get above 55.

I need to check both my Adcoms to make sure they are in working condition. I'll get a MiniDSP to dial them in.

I got your motivation. Get them built or I'm coming to get those subs. I wish I would have snagged two when they were around.

I have 2 Avalanche 15s. They are like the old Adire Tempest. They have the XBL2 motor, so they have twice the throw when compared to the Tempest. They had a very limited run. I found out there were some licensing issues. As in Dan didn't get paid. LOL

I'm not familiar with them as I've not been in the DIY game long, but they look beastly. They should do nicely in the martys. Whatcha driving them with?
