Guys and possibly Ladies,

I would really like to get a meet going! This would get us to know each other and make new friends in our hobby. It will also let us hear different components and speakers like other gtg's on here. Even though I am trying to arrange this gtg, I do not think that my house would be a great host site because I have a newborn baby. However, I will bring food or beer and what ever equipment needed. Let's get the Houston members together and maybe somebody is willing to host. Spread the word!

If you have any more things that you would like to add, just post them.

The Thompson Theater

RIP William Alexander

Heck yeah, I'm in... I'll even offer to host, although I'll defer to those with that "new theater smell" in the air! biggrin.gif

Sure...I would like to go as well. I'd love to see jautors theater again. It's been over a year.

And if we really want to open it up, there's several over in San Antonio and Austin.

Pretty cool! I may be in depending on when it is, I've been really busy lately though. Post up details when they are hammered out!

Take care

I'm interested as well.

I'm in corporate accounting so this Jan/Feb YE reporting season is a busy 6wks for me but once you get something scheduled I would love to participate if I can make it work.

Sometime during President's Day weekend? (Feb 15-17)

How many of us have that Monday off (I do)? That would make either Saturday, Sunday or Monday viable...

I don't think that I have that day off. We work too much at my company. For me, Saturday is the best because I think you live far from me and I would not have to worry about time. If Sunday is better for everybody else than that is fine.

Hey guys!

I'm in San Antonio but travel to Houston quite often, for work, kids sports, plus have family and friends in Huston that I can bum with cool.gif, so if can make it work I would like to be included.

I see that Jautor has a scope screen, if interested I made a scope only material demo disc for a friend, we could use some of those clips. Let me know.

Only if you leave a copy! I've been meaning to punch out copies of the various AVS demo discs but haven't done it yet. Certainly faster than switching discs!

If people attending would like a copy what we can do is, let me know how many copes we need then we just swap a demo disc for an empty disc from those interested on having a copy.

BTW, my wife would love to attend also, and a couple of friends from Houston.... I know, once you start just keep getting bigger and bigger !!! biggrin.gif

I have no problem with that - for "real" movie watching I have 12 seats in the theater. Obviously more people can squeeze in for demos - there's been ~18 (adults with kids, though) in there for the Super Bowl...

Depending on the count, and just a suggestion, there could be two groups and do like 25 min demo segments. while one group is in the theater the other group is outside mingling, then get everyone together for 10 - 15 min and do another segment.
