I would love to see some jtr mains there. I am debating on upgrading to some triple 12s or 212 or 215rt. Will any of those be there?

There should be a pair of 215rt there

I was able to move my schedule around, and will now most likely make it. I'm driving in from out of state with my wife and kids to see family, so cargo in the suv will be limited, but hope to fit one of my PSA XS30's - non SE (will try, but unlikely?). That would be a fun to do a direct compairson with the HSU if possible. I would bring the JTR T8-LP's, but they are sealed behind the screen now.

Great to see the names of the attendees!

Justice - New Lands
Justice - Parade
Trent Reznor - Carbon Prevails
Pendulum - Set Me on Fire
AWOLNATION - Sail

Here are some tracks that were highlights from another GTG out east that we'll be playing as well:

Sherlock Holmes - OST Discombobulate
Eagles Gone Country - Hotel California
Collective Soul - December
Incubus - Echo
Daft Punk - Tron Legacy Overture
Tool - Jambi
Pendulum - The Tempest
Dire Straits - What It Is
Styx - Renegade
Boz Scaggs - Thanks to You
Dream Theater - Another Day
Dream Theater - The Count of Tuscany

As for Blu-ray concerts, Dustin has something that I can't remember for the life of me, but I'm buying the new Metallica concert "Through the Never".

Picking out material isn't easy, so I'm all ears for any suggestions anyone might have!

Also, my suggestions are:

Aenema- Tool
Stinkfist- Tool
Slow Ride- Sublime
Hook- Blues Traveler
Stormy Monday- Cream live at royal albert hall 2007
Freedom- Rage Against The Machine
Guitar solo from master of puppets
Save Me- Avenged Sevenfold
Oceans- Hillsong United live@ relevant studios
Frankenstein- Edgar Winter Group

Some additional content will be the "Cream" blu-ray concert. I just heard this at David's "The Savoy" GTG and it sounds awesome.

There was also a track upstairs on the JTR 215RTs called "Jazz Variants" that sounds great. I had heard it before last year at my GTG when Jeff brought it, and I just ordered that as well.

Looking forward to this! My name is on the list twice. Just an FYI so the numbers aren't messed up.

I would love to come but I don't know if I can fly or not. I was also thinking about going to the capital audio fest in DC, it is the same weekend. Could put me down for a maybe if you have room. I have to talk to my Doctor and find out about flying. I could possibly drive. Would be a long one, but would not be the first time.

Looking forward to hear how the Yorkville U215's stack up against the other offerings.

I am thinking about getting L/C/R's for my game room and moving my JTR228's up to my living room.

3 - JTR 228's LCR (game room)
2 - DIY Sound Group V-8 Coaxials (game room)
4 - PSA Triax's (game room)
2 - SVS SB13+'s (living room)
1 - SVS SB12-NSD (bedroom)

I've heard them very briefly in luke's basement. They have a ton of midbass but were completely un eq'ed at the time.

The more I think about last years GTG, the more I think we should limit how many subs/speakers we decide to audition.

Last year, we had dual Caps, dual F20's, an orbit shifter, and my four subs, and it was just too much. We didn't plug in the F20's until the very end of the day when most had left, and only only played the dual Caps for maybe an hour at most?

I think this year we should stick to just the 215RT's and the Yorks for mains, and just my four subs.

We can pick 8-10 high quality songs and 8-10 bass movie clips to audition on the JTR's (full range of course) and Yorks, and then maybe have some fun with the JTR's crossed at 80hz with the four horns at full tilt.

After we get through the standard audition material, we can take requests and play what anyone wants.

What does everyone else think of that?

This will be my first GTG, I'm looking forward to it! I see you are thinking about limiting the speakers / subs. If there is interest I can think about bringing my two Marty Cubes with SI 18D4s (normally powered by an inuke3kdsp). I'm thinking they might be a pain to get loaded in my truck, exposed to elements since they are taller than my truck cover, so I'm not currently planning on bringing them.

This year I think we're going to keep it simple and stick to the JTR and York speakers and my subs.

I really appreciate the offer though!

I've been so busy finishing the room I haven't spent much time trying to coordinate the GTG. Drywall goes in tonight, so we're getting close!

Then can we get additional jtr speakers for mains? I would live to hear the 212 and triple 12s. I say that because I want to buy some new mains and want to compare.

The yorkville U215's up against the JTR 212's and 215's sounds very interesting. The Yorkvilles could very well be my next speakers.

I don't think Jeff will have room in his vehicle for both. If someone local has a pair they are more then welcome to bring them. We had t12s last year at our GTG.
