Good momentum here ... Should we start throwing out dates, maybe a Doodle poll? My room is a disaster area, and probably will be into October at least before I could host. Would like to get some projects further along first, unless we make this a working meet ... I have lots of tools ... And beer ... And a Big Green Egg

I was thinking into October for meet of some sort! I am basically ready to host any time at this point but I have several things on the burner that could affect that But that is pretty commonplace in my HT. I have some pics to throw up here but need to upload first. I just want this to be a cool place for people to show what they are up to! Feel free to post pics of any work you are doing right now @TimB !!!!

I could probably host at the end of 2017. That should give me enough time to start and finish my build, though even then my room will probably only hold 6 people

I'm down TMcG but can you please change your avatar; it creeps me out every time I see it?

Probably a conflict with our annual Halloween party. But don't let that drive it if that's date that works best for everyone else. I'll catch the next one.

Almost done with my theater.. My Stereo Integrity sub should be here tomorrow or Wednesday. Having some one local build that box I just don't have time at the moment. All I have left to do with my room is cover the riser for the rear seats and put in the can lights. Then I'll build some acoustic treatments later. I'm in the Winston-Salem area.

I would be happy to host. That Nov. 1st weekend likely won't work for me though as it is one of the only ASU home football games I can make it to this year up in Boone I will look at the schedule and see what else I can come up with, or if too many others are good with that weekend perhaps I can figure something out

I am not married to the Nov. 1 date, was just throwing it out there as a suggestion far enough out that it hopefully wouldn't conflict. I am completely open to other dates, but need to schedule in advance. Let's hear some suggestions!

Off topic but for my Raleigh area folks, where have you been able to find OC703 or something similar?

Lowes can order Safensound for you and its cheaper.

However you gotta build a frame for it bc its not as rigid as 703...

Specialty Products normally stocks 703: (919) 828-7102

Thanks Nick. Just got the recommendation for SPI from the OC rep for the area. Is SNS a ton cheaper?

Beast, please ad me to the g2g wannago list! I've mostly lurked around AVS quietly soaking up info, esp new stuff (I'm an old schooler - catching up after a couple decades absence from audio, esp DIY audio). And, BTW, thanks to all! Hopefully, I'll soon have some contributions.

Around here, in slow transition to some bigger boy pieces. For instance, current subs are 2 x 12" in 2 cu ft sealed, but have two SI HT18s in house and still in boxes awaiting enclosures (thinking ~25 cu ft sonos). LCR: Pioneers a la Andy Jones, but am on Erich's (DIY Soundgroup) latecomer list for 3 1099s...could happen - depending on his inventory of Celestion mids. (Another late discovery...stumbled onto the 1099 thread last weeek - after pre-orders completed). No pj, but a nice 5-foot eyefull with one of Panny's last ever plasmas.

Beast, Caught wind of your spring g2g a little late. Read many comments after...sounded like a monumental event! Love Asheville. I'm a regular at the Montford Festival. Ever go? I'm two hours east.

I will get you added! Sounds like you are making some great steps towards a top notch system. I went the sonotube LLT route for a while and it was a LOT of fun. It was crazy how impressive those two massive tubes were with just a pair of 15's in them. I literally was able to knock that build out in less than 48 hours too Quite nice.

The g2g was an absolute blast. Ready to do another one It is just as much fun to listen to fun setups as it is to just shoot the bull with like-minded enthusiasts.

Hey all! I have been having a little fun in the garage last couple evenings And the subwoofer arsenal grows!
This is just a test-fit, still have some sanding, staining, etc to get done...
