As for a schedule, I have started a rough draft, but nothing worth sharing at this time. I really want to get a lock on how many people will be here and what equipment is being shown. Demos of my theater will be limited to groups of 5 (for D-Box) +1 (me or another host). I will have help to host guests while demos are occurring. I also think we may need to start early too. I can pick up muffins and croissants from Costco for early arrivers and food can be served from lunch on. Nothing is on concrete, so these are just some thoughts.
As for the demos, I want to group folks together by listening preferences. For example, folks who think reference levels are too loud = group A, those who like reference levels = B and those who want to hear ref +5/10/? = other groups. There can be more than one group for each spl level. I do want to allow time for each demo too.
I am sure some folks will want to hear 9.4.4 vs. 7.4.4 vs ????. Maybe some with just widths only play to see what is missing. If this is a popular request, then I will incorporate it into each session.
I will also ask for what material folks will want to hear. I have a fairly large collection of media available but want to ensure we are prepared.
So, yes. Lots to work on.
